On February 16th, The Local Motive welcomed some very special guests on the bus! As part of our Crawl for a Cause movement, the Colorado Springs Senior Center joined us for a Sunday Brunch Crawl and it was quite the festive group we must say! It was an unforgettable day as the seniors visited four amazing brunch spots with mimosa and bloody mary bars as well as scrumptious food. We danced, sang and played a few rounds of bingo and we have the photographic evidence to prove it!
On the way to the first stop everyone tried on a few funny accessories until they found a hat that fit juuuust right!
First stop: T-Byrds Tacos!
First Drink: Mimosas!!

And two T-Byrds gift card giveaways?! #Win
Next Stop: Oskar Blues!

Bingo was his name-o! A few friendly rounds of #Bingo on the way to the next stop and some awesome prizes for the lucky winners!

Then we "Kazoo'd" our way back to the Colorado Springs Senior Center. Who knew we had so much talent on the bus?!
Thank you to the Colorado Springs Senior Center for all that you do! Their innovative partnership between the Colorado Springs City and the YMCA brings much needed outreach to Colorado Springs seniors. They are dedicated to ending social isolation and offering quality of life experiences for adults ages fifty-five and up and we are on board for that! The Local Motive is all about bringing the community together and nothing says community much like the Colorado Springs Senior Center so this was an amazing and special crawl for us as well!
