Are there any additional fees?


The only additional fee to this amazing deal would be a tip for the driver. This is at your discretion and can be added directly to the invoice, or the driver can put out a tip jar for your guests to contribute to.




How do I book the bus?


Booking the Bus:

  1. Fill out the form on the private event page
  2. We will be in touch asap and send you a contract
  3. A 50% deposit is required to hold the bus for your date. Do this ASAP! Our buses book out fast.
  4. You will have your own Bus Event Portal with us to making the process organized and transparent.
  5. Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to event.




Can we have alcohol on the bus?


If you are going to non-bar locations, you may bring bring alcohol onto the bus. Glass containers are not permitted. The party bus has a cooler on it, but you may need to bring additional coolers. There is space on the school bus for coolers.




Can I book the bus for multiple days?


Yes, if you need additional transportation for more than one day we can often do a package deal. Once we start the conversation with you, we can talk about all your transportation needs and rates.




Can I book one Party Bus and one School Bus?


Yes. If you want to mix and match the party bus and school bus you can do that. It works well to make the Party Bus the "VIP" bus.




What is your cancelation policy?


The deposit is non-refundable, however we want to be sure you experience the bus so we are happy to move you to a new date if needed. We will offer refunds for those who have to cancel due to strict COVID restrictions or shutdowns which has cancelled the main event (such as weddings)




What prevenative mesures are you taking against COVID?


We are dedicated to the health and safety of all of our guests. Below are the precautions we take to reduce the spread of Covid-19 to the best of our abilities.

  1. We will fully sanitize every bus before every event.
  2. All of our drivers and employees will wear a mask at all times.
  3. We will provide hand sanitizer for our employees and guests to be used regularly.
  4. Any employee who is feeling ill, showing symptoms or was in close contact with someone that tested positive for Covid-19 will be ordered to stay home.
  5. We are following all transport guidelines provided by the state and CDC.




What are the COVID guideliness for private rental guests?


We highly encourage that you and all of your guests take the following measures to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Guidelines are in affect as long as covid restrictions are in affect by the CDC or until further notice.

  1. Guests are highly encouraged to wear face masks at all times while on the bus. We will have face masks available on the bus for those who do not have one.
  2. Windows on the bus must remain open to supply fresh air at all times.
  3. All guests must use our hand sanitizer before getting on the bus and anytime they leave and re-enter the bus. There will be sanitizer provided at the front of the bus.
  4. Everyone on the bus should ideally be of the same household or social circle.
  5. Any guest that is showing symptoms of Covid-19 will not be permitted on the bus.
  6. If a guests tests positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of the event, we must be notified immediately.

What's included on a tour?


A once in a lifetime experince on The Local Motive as we drive you to 4 locations! We set up food & drink specials at each location (think happy hour) at a discounted Local Motive Cost. We also provide snacks on the bus and waters. One to two tour guides are assigned to every crawl to help make the night memorable by keeping the group on track with the schedule and the atmosphere fun and enjoyable!




What should I bring?


A thirst for a new experince of Colorado Springs and an open mind! Also bring your photo ID as most locations will ask for it. Usually food is available at most of our locations so you can either come hungry or come full.




What is your refund policy?


Because so much planning goes into every tour/crawl based off of the amount of registered crawlers, we are unable to give refunds as of April 1, 2019. We would still love for your to attend a future event so we would love to offer a transfer code if you can notify us within 72 hours of the event you registered for. The transfer code is valid to any of our crawls up to the value of the purchased amount. Thank you for your understanding of this policy. Text is the best form of communication to receive your transfer code. 719.204.4141 Calling is the 2nd best form Emails may or may not be answered in a timely order due to high volume.




Can I drink on the bus?


Currently there is no drinking allowed on the bus. We are here to support local business so we strive to make it a point that all drinking is done at the designated locations. Don't worry people get plentyto drink at the 4 stops on every crawl and we will let you finish your drink before we move on to the next stop. Note: Our policy is that If someone is caught with alocohol on the bus, it would be terms for immediant removal. Meaning we will kick you off the bus and you will be responsible for the Uber back to your vehicle or home.




Can non-drinkers come?


Of course! We have non drinkers come all the time! We have heard that with or without alcohol, the time on the bus is magical and can be enjoyed by anyone of any age!




Are kids allowed? What about Minors?


We have kids friendly and minor friendly designated crawls however unless speicified it is 21+ only.




Do you do private events?


Most definitly! Please visit our "Private Events" page for more detials. As long as the date is available you can either choose from one of our pre designed tours or custom design your own! We also offer transport for those large groups that need to go from one place to the next.
